The Russian regulatory agency held a meeting with IT industry representatives following numerous complaints from software developers. Due to systematic restrictions on the operation of bypass services, domestic developers lost reliable access to foreign code repositories, libraries, and cloud platforms. Earlier, representatives of a professional association had already called for a more cautious approach, as current restrictions virtually halt the software development process.
As a solution, the regulator recommended promptly reporting occurring disruptions and announced plans to establish a national repository. The main initiative, however, was the proposal to launch a specialized state-run VPN service for secure interaction with foreign platforms. Nevertheless, private sector representatives received this proposal without much optimism.
With HiroVPN, users are protected from such infrastructure restrictions and can continue their work without any obstacles.
