Anthropic, the creator of the Claude neural network, has introduced mandatory identity verification whenever suspicious activity, such as using tools to bypass restrictions, is detected. If a user provides a Russian passport during this check, their account is immediately blocked. Furthermore, subscription fees paid prior to the ban are not refunded.
Holding a valid visa or residence permit in countries where the service operates officially does not prevent account termination. In addition to citizens of the Russian Federation, users from China have also faced similar restrictions and loss of access.
Since the platform is not officially available in Russia, many people are forced to look for ways to access it, but even residents of other countries remain at risk of being blocked. With the HiroVPN service, users are protected from such problems.
